And just like that, two months have passed since our New Ferry Rangers Football Festival 2024!
Everyone at New Ferry Rangers would like to extend their thanks to all the teams who participated in our biggest tournament yet. Over 250 teams joined us to compete across the weekend and showed us the best that grassroots football has to offer.
A massive 2,500 children participated in our tournament and we hope every single one of them left with wonderful memories of playing football with their friends. A huge congratulations goes to all of our winners and runners-up who had their time to celebrate on our newly-built presentation area! We welcomed U7’s teams who had their first tournament with us, and said good-bye to the U16’s teams who sadly participated in our tournament for final time. We hope that no matter the outcome of the tournament, the team’s had a day to remember. Our thanks also goes to all the coaches who chose to bring your teams to our tournament, the positive feedback we received from you was overwhelming and very much appreciated!
We would like to extent our heartfelt gratitude to our tournament sponsor Concept Projects Group Ltd and all of our wonderful pitch and tent sponsors. The support we receive from local businesses every year is fantastic, and their continued generosity allows us to put on the biggest football festival around! We appreciate the hard work of the food and entertainment vendors, and of course the vital work our First Aid crew do keeping us safe.
We pride ourselves on hosting a tournament that is officiated by the best referees around, and this year was no different! We couldn’t have a tournament without them, so we would like to extend our thanks to all of our referees for officiating this year. It was great to see some new faces in the referee tent, as well as our ever reliable regulars who come back every year.
Finally, this tournament would not be possible without the unwavering commitment and hard work of our wonderful volunteers. The work that goes on behind the scenes for the months leading up to the tournament is huge, and those that step in for the weekend are irreplaceable. From our over-nighters to our car-park attendants; from our admin team to our litter pickers, and everyone in between, your contribution every year is invaluable. We are proud to have you as the face of New Ferry Rangers, thank you for helping make this tournament the success it is.

The date you’ve all been waiting for! The New Ferry Rangers Football Festival 2025 will be held across the weekend of
Saturday 7th / Sunday 8th June 2025, so make sure you save the date! We will be opening registrations for next year’s tournament in the coming weeks, so please keep an eye on our social media platforms for this information.
